Assistant Vice President (AVP) - PR and Marketing

to lead our communication and marketing strategies while closely collaborating with PR and marketing agencies.

Role Overview

The

AVP - PR and Marketing

will play a pivotal role in ensuring that 9Point Capital’s brand is positioned effectively in the market. This role requires extensive collaboration with

external PR and marketing agencies , as well as

internal teams , to ensure the timely and impactful execution of strategies. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the creation of compelling narratives, strategic marketing campaigns, and seamless coordination between all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Public Relations

Develop and execute a comprehensive

PR strategy

to establish 9Point Capital as a thought leader in digital asset management.Collaborate with the PR agency to draft press releases, media kits, and thought leadership content.Act as the primary point of contact for the PR agency, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely execution of campaigns.Build and nurture relationships with journalists, media outlets, and key influencers to enhance brand visibility.Monitor and manage media coverage to identify opportunities for proactive communication and address potential risks.Marketing Management

Work closely with the marketing agency to develop and execute integrated campaigns that drive brand awareness and client acquisition.Oversee the creation of digital and traditional marketing content, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and advertising strategies.Ensure marketing deliverables are aligned with the company’s vision and executed within defined timelines.Develop performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing actionable insights to improve ROI.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the brand message is consistently communicated across all touchpoints.Strategic Coordination

Act as the liaison between the PR and marketing agencies and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities.Partner with leadership to define strategic goals, craft messaging, and execute campaigns that align with business objectives.Ensure internal teams provide timely inputs and approvals to avoid bottlenecks in campaign execution.Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies to inform marketing and PR initiatives.Leadership and Team Building

Lead, mentor, and inspire a small team of marketing and communication professionals to achieve high standards of excellence.Foster collaboration between internal teams and external agencies to ensure smooth operations and creative synergy.Skills and Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.Experience : A minimum of

15 years

in public relations and marketing, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the finance or fintech domains.Strategic Vision : Proven expertise in working with PR and marketing agencies to develop and execute impactful strategies.Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives and articulate complex ideas effectively.Collaboration and Liaisoning : Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with financial services, digital assets, and global investment trends.Execution Focus : A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time.Analytical Ability : Strong skills in evaluating campaign performance, understanding metrics, and driving improvements.
