Job Title: AVP - Launch Management (Regulated Markets)

Reporting to- EVP & Global Head of Supply Chain

Location: Ahmedabad

Company Overview: We are a leading pharmaceutical company committed to delivering innovative healthcare solutions to patients worldwide. With a focus on regulated markets such as the EU and US, we are dedicated to ensuring successful product launches through effective planning, execution, and coordination. We are seeking an experienced AVP to lead our Launch Management team, overseeing the end-to-end launch process for pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management: Lead and manage all aspects of the launch process, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and goals. Coordinate activities across functions, including Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and Medical Affairs.2. Regulatory Affairs Support: Work closely with Regulatory Affairs to ensure timely submission and approval of regulatory filings for new product launches. Provide regulatory guidance and support throughout the pre-launch and post-launch phases.3. Manufacturing and Tech Transfer: Oversee manufacturing and technology transfer activities related to product launches, ensuring compliance with cGMP, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Coordinate with internal manufacturing sites and external partners as needed.4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams involved in the launch process. Facilitate regular meetings and reviews to track progress, address issues, and drive decision-making.5. Launch Readiness Assessment: Conduct launch readiness assessments to evaluate the preparedness of internal teams, external partners, and supply chain infrastructure for product launches. Identify and address potential gaps or risks.6. Post-Launch Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor product performance post-launch, including sales, market share, and customer feedback. Implement strategies to optimize product performance and address any challenges or opportunities.7. Budget Management: Manage launch budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) preferred.- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing launch management for regulated markets.- Strong understanding of the end-to-end launch process, including project management, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, and technology transfer.- Proven track record of successful product launches in regulated markets, preferably in the EU and US.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
