Job Description- DevOps Lead- Azure (7+ Years)

DevOps and Cloud Engineer with over 7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Skilled in automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container orchestration, and cloud security. Proven ability to lead engineering teams and drive DevOps culture in enterprise environments.

Technical Skills

  • Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, GCP
  • CI/CD Tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab

Key ResponsibilitiesDevOps & CI/CD Pipelines

  • Designed and implemented CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for .NET, , Android, iOS, and container-based applications.
  • Maintained and deployed to Azure App Services, Function Apps, Logic Apps, AKS, and Service Fabric.
  • Managed version control, approval workflows, and self-hosted agents in Azure DevOps environments.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Developed and managed infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, and Terraform Cloud Workspaces.
  • Automated and provisioned Azure landing zones, network architectures, and multi-environment deployments.

Cloud & Security Management

  • Operated and secured cloud environments in Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Configured Azure Firewalls, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Cloudflare WAF/DNS, including SSL/TLS lifecycle and load balancing.

Containerization & Orchestration

  • Containerized applications using Docker and Helm.
  • Deployed and managed clusters in AKS, ECS, and ACI.
  • Monitored infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Log Analytics, and Grafana.

Automation & Scripting

  • Developed automation solutions using PowerShell, Azure Logic Apps, and basic Python.
  • Created and managed ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Monitoring & Observability

  • Built observability dashboards using Datadog, New Relic, and Azure Workbooks.
  • Configured alerts and analytics for proactive infrastructure monitoring and support.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with AWS and OCI infrastructure provisioning
  • Exposure to Office365 administration
  • Strong leadership skills and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to lead a team of 20–30 engineers
  • Familiarity with modern ETL patterns and data pipelines
