Responsibilities :


  • Member of IT Infrastructure Management team
  • Responsible for monitoring SaaS infrastructure, site reliability and its efficient operations on a 5x24 basis
  • Ownership for all application and infrastructure monitoring and observability tools
  • Creation and implementation of monitoring processes and procedures
  • Real-time and regular reporting on system performance
  • Severity 1 and 2 incident management for the infrastructure
  • Financial planning and budget management in relation to all monitoring costs
  • Line management duties for the Platform Monitoring team, including employee development and growth


Experience and Skills Required


Experience of any or all of the following will be beneficial.


  • 10+ years' experience in IT operations and cloud infrastructure with 24/7 high availability
  • Skills to manage and coordinate multiple teams on high severity incidents.
  • Experience working and monitoring complex infrastructure, applications and networks.
  • Expert knowledge of monitoring tools such as DataDog, New Relic or Prometheus
  • Expertise with SaaS applications and cloud hosting on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Rackspace or AWS
  • People management skills to create and operate a high performing team.
  • Linux (RedHat / Oracle), Apache, JBoss EAP, Oracle Database
  • Working knowledge of ITIL, ISO 20000, ISO 55000 and ISO20022 standards
