About Us :

We are a dynamic and rapidly growing company seeking a talented Hybrid Data Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support our business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Python, Scala, and Spark.

- Design and implement scalable and efficient data models in SQL Server or Postgres.

- Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance.

- Utilize Informatica ETL for data integration tasks.

- Develop Spark jobs in Scala for processing large volumes of data.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

- Perform data analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring data quality and integrity.

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud technologies.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong experience in SQL Server or Postgres.

- Proficiency in PL/SQL and ability to write complex SQL queries.

- Familiarity with Informatica ETL basic concepts.

- Good knowledge of Scala programming language.

- Ability to write Spark jobs in Scala.

- Experience with AWS cloud technologies.

Good to Have:

- Experience with database performance optimization techniques.

- Familiarity with Spark job optimization, including resolving issues like data skewness and efficient partitioning.

- Knowledge of AWS technologies and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

- Certification in AWS or related technologies is a plus.
