Job Description
As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your role involves overseeing the entire software development process from requirement gathering to delivering a final product , collaborating with cross functional teams, and implementing best practices to deliver high-quality software to our users.
Responsibilities:
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable SaaS applications using agile methodologies.
Front-End Development: Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React).
Back-End Development: Build robust server-side logic and APIs using languages such as Node JS with express.
Database Management: Design and manage the DBMS like relational and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
Integration: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with third-party tools and services to enhance platform functionality. (Micro services, postman)
Cloud Deployment: Deploy, monitor, and manage cloud-based applications using platforms like (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA Testers, and other team members to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions JIRA, github/gitlab/gitbucket).
Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices for security and scalability.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve software bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute ideas to improve our platform and processes (CI/CD with Jenkins, Github Actions and workflow, Docker).
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development.
Experience with modern front-end technologies (e.g., React).
Strong knowledge of server-side programming (e.g., Node.js with Express).
Familiarity with database systems (relational and NoSQL).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerisation with Docker, Kubernetes, Github Actions and workflow, ).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in full-stack development for SaaS applications.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
