Senior Tax Associate

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced US Sales Tax Senior Associate to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and optimizing our sales tax compliance processes, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:Sales Tax Compliance:Oversee the preparation and filing of sales tax returns in accordance with state and local regulations.Conduct regular reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of sales tax reporting.Stay current with changes in sales tax laws and regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.Process Optimization:Identify opportunities to streamline and improve sales tax compliance processes.Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in sales tax reporting.Research and Analysis:Conduct research on complex sales tax issues and provide recommendations to ensure compliance.Analyze sales transactions and exemptions to identify potential areas for improvement or risk mitigation.Qualifications and Other Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.3+ years of experience in sales tax compliance, with a focus on US taxation.Strong understanding of state and local sales tax laws and regulations.Experience with sales tax software and ERP systems.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Be a team player and provide exceptional commitment to the success of the team and development of team members.
