Innovation and Automation Application Development Lead Analyst Position Overview: The Innovation and Automation team partners with business and IT stakeholders throughout the enterprise to design, build, and deploy custom Automation and Analytic solutions. This role will partner with business operations stakeholders, and requires a candidate with a learning mindset, a strong background in data analytics, and an aptitude for translating business needs into technical requirements. In this role you will be responsible to learn and understand the business, become a SME on the data, and build cutting-edge, innovative analytics that provide actionable insights on known value streams while discovering opportunities for further analysis. Key Responsibilities: Engage with business partners to understand analytic and data gaps and facilitate working sessions to design and prototype data integration solutions and automation Translate business needs into technical requirements, and translate technical results into meaningful, actionable information for non-technical stakeholders Write complex SQL queries to extract, filter, and aggregate data from different relational databases. Develop and implement data quality checks and validation procedures to identify and address data inconsistencies. Design, implement, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Python libraries to extract data from multiple sources, transform it as needed, and load it into data warehouses. Pioneer new technologies and methodologies for automation and data analysis Take ownership of relationships, projects, and goals Required Experience / Qualifications: Must have 5 - 8 years experience with the following technology skillsets below: Must have experience working with relational databases. Must have experience writing complex SQL queries to extract, filter, and aggregate data from different relational databases. Hands-on experience using Python libraries to extract data from different data sources and performing data analysis. API Programming experience to retrieve data from various sources.
