Provides technical support activities for a software production processing environment.Installs, maintains and supports application/source code and/or its components and subsystems including third party software.Detects, diagnoses and reports related problems.Analyzes and resolves incidents, problems or known errors related to failures in application and supporting software components.Provides technical assistance to programming staff in the analysis of application software amends, performance and resource consumption.Creates and maintains complete documentation relative to the support of application software.

What you bring:

At least 3+ years in experience in SRE - Site Reliability EngineerExperience working on cloud-based infrastructure e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP.Strong Knowledge in Tools like Azure Metrics, log Analytics, Cloud Watch, Cloud Guard and ability to create Dashboards and Alerts.Good experience in Linux commands.Good experience in Kubernetes Management, Deployment strategies and best practices.Ability to Automate repetitive tasks (using Scripting / automation tools)Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation).Knowledge in DevOPS (CI/CD) and relevant tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOPS)Strong knowledge in shell script developmentExperience in Cluster upgrade, Patching, DR exercise (Cluster, Storage Account, and other services)Ability to create KQL queries for different use cases to extract data from log analytics.Strong knowledge in Helm and helm developmentKnowledge in tools like Jira, Bitbucket and confluence

Added Bonus if you have:Knowledge in Splunk would be added advantage.Knowledge in troubleshooting Java/J2EE application related issues.Knowledge of FIS’ products and servicesKnowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organizationKnowledge of financial services industry
