Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database development, with a specific focus on Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL) and MySQL. As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions to support our organization's data needs.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL) and MySQL.

- Create and optimize database structures, tables, views, and stored procedures for maximum efficiency and performance.

- Develop and implement data migration and integration processes between different database systems.

- Collaborate with software developers and other team members to integrate database functionality into applications and systems.

- Perform database tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

- Implement and enforce database security protocols and best practices to safeguard sensitive data.

- Monitor database performance and capacity, and proactively identify and address potential issues.

- Document database design, architecture, and processes to ensure clarity and maintainability.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to database development and management.

- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Database Developer, with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL) and MySQL.

- Strong proficiency in SQL programming and database query optimization.

- Experience in database design, normalization, and optimization techniques.

- Familiarity with database administration tasks such as backup and recovery, replication, and clustering.

- Hands-on experience with database development tools and technologies, including SSMS, MySQL Workbench, and T-SQL.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Certification in Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL) or MySQL is a plus.
