QA with accountantHyderabadFulltimeHybrid(US shifts) : 3 days’ work from officeJob Description:· Perform manual testing of accounting and finance applications, including GL, AP, AR, invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.· Understand and validate accounting workflows, journal entries, ledgers, and financial reports.· Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business and functional requirements.· Validate financial calculations, postings, tax rules, currency conversions, and regulatory compliance.· Perform end-to-end, integration, regression, and UAT support testing.· Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).· Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, and finance stakeholders.· Review requirement documents and provide feedback from a QA and accounting perspective.· Ensure data accuracy across system integrations and reports.· Support production validations and post-release verification when required.Required Skills & Qualifications· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.· 2–6 years of experience in Manual QA testing, preferably in accounting or finance-based applications.· Strong understanding of accounting principles (GL, AP, AR, financial statements).· Experience testing financial systems such as ERP, billing, invoicing, or payment platforms.
