Job Title : Database Developer Experience Level : 7-12 Years Job Location : Pune Budget : 15 LPA Job Type : Contract Work Mode : Hybrid Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Job Description: Requirements • Proven experience as a Database Developer with a strong focus on Postgre SQL . • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions . • Experience with database design, normalization, and schema creation . • Strong understanding of indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning . • Familiarity with Postgre SQL extensions (e.g., Post GIS, pg_stat_statements ). • Knowledge of database security best practices. • Experience with database backup, recovery, and replication strategies. • Familiarity with tools like pg Admin, psql, and other Postgre SQL utilities. • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Experience with cloud-based Postgre SQL solutions • Good understanding of Postgre SQL – Architecture, security, operational knowledge • Deep understanding of how Postgre SQL manages data, including tablespaces, data files, indexes, WAL (Write-Ahead Logging), and key processes like Postmaster and bgwriter • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and upgrading Postgre SQL instances. • Expertise in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, including SQL query optimization, index tuning, and server parameter adjustments. • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automating routine tasks, deployments, and maintenance
