About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Web Developer with strong expertise in Django, Django REST Framework, and Python to join our tech team. The ideal candidate will take ownership of enhancing and maintaining our existing Django-based platform while collaborating closely with senior developers and product managers to design and implement new features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the current software system comprehensively before making improvements.
  • Maintain, improve, and extend features in our existing Django platform.
  • Debug, optimize, and fix issues within the system promptly.
  • Collaborate with senior developers and product managers to design and implement new features.
  • Integrate third-party services such as CRMs (e.g., ZOHO), payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay), and external APIs.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring high coding standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on professional experience in Django, Django REST Framework, and Python development.
  • Proven experience integrating third-party systems (CRM, payments, analytics, communication APIs).
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and query optimization.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience with frontend frameworks is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative version control workflows (pull requests, branching, code reviews).
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
  • Patience and adaptability to learn and work within a large, existing codebase.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, S3).
  • Familiarity with microservices, task queues like Celery and Crons, or background job processing.
  • Understanding of software scaling, performance optimization, and security.
