Prasun Exponentials is the investment arm of the Chawla family. Prasun Exponentials invests in listed and unlisted equities in India.

The family also runs a real estate business in Pune called Prasun Spaces which develops and sells residential properties. The family is the ex-promoter of Kamani Oil Industries which was sold to the Swedish multinational AAK in 2020. They now run a start-up, Samyog Health Foods, in the food space which sells high protein foods under the brand Prolicious.

Roles and Responsibilities

·        Perform fundamental analysis on companies in the Indian equity market

·        Maintain research and track firms in the portfolio

·        Build and train the team

·        Interact with outside brokers, investor relations and managements for the purpose of equity research


Skills and Requirements

·        Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.

·        6-10 years work experience in equity research

·        Education: CA, CFA or an MBA in Finance

·        Passion for equities with a high degree of drive and initiative is a must.

·        Knowledge of coding and database management is a plus.
