Position: Quality Assurance Manager - CMS & DSF, Digital Business


Purpose:

The test engineer is a key position to ensure quality deliverables with the help of team.

The incumbent should ensure a quality balance between Manual and Automation testing. Have in-depth knowledge of Content Management System and Data StoreFront systems and to design, improvise and maintain the automation frameworks to validate them with OTT knowledge and functioning of video streaming protocols.

This position demands good communication and management skills to ensure every single detail is captured and shared diligently.


Education: B.E./B.Tech, MTech, MCA

Experience: 10+ Years, Experience in Smart TV, Android/iOS Mobile/TV/STB, Web/mweb Application Testing

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Engineering Automation Testing with ITT

  • Good knowledge of testing processes (SDLC/STLC)
  • Experience on Audio/Player playback testing
  • Feature Testing, Sanity Testing, Regression Testing, Exploratory Testing Ad-Hoc Testing, Security Testing, Monkey Testing, Interruption Testing
  • Ensure test case design and execution methodologies are technically sound
  • Responsible for creating test cases, detailing test cases, test plans, and consolidating and reporting test results.
  • Design and implement quality process and quality metrics for the applications across • Experience to verify data analytics of application
  • Experience on any crash analytics tool like firebase to check crash logs
  • Knowledge of debugging & logs of application
  • Knowledge of OTT systems on it functioning and interaction with different modules and components.
  • Quality Engineering - Automation
  • Good understanding of test automation on all the platform Applications.
  • Experience of automation on cloud devices/remote devices
  • Good experience on Robot Framework, Selenium/Appium Framework and Java/Kotlin/Python
  • Good understanding of Shell scripting and code management tools
  • Good understanding of frameworks for performance and KPI
  • Good understanding of processes and methodologies with ability to adapt and improvise in various situations.
  • Expertise on CICD (Git/Jenkins) related to automation for remote execution
  • Responsible for developing automation dashboards and reports to quality engineering Tools Experience
  • Required
  • Robot Framework, Android Studio, xcode, Appium, Charles, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, firebase crash analytics.

  • Ability to identify and assess potential risks to quality and develop strategies to mitigate them ○ Sound decision-making skills, especially in situations that may impact product quality Ability to work collaboratively with development, product management, and other teams to ensure a shared understanding of quality goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address issues in the QA process.
  • Clear and concise communication with team members, developers, and other stakeholders

Technical

  • Should have good knowledge and experience in Automation frameworks
  • development and execution from scratch Should have excellent programming/coding and logical skills.
  • Should have good hands-on knowledge of app technologies, Web Services, APIs Gateways for mobile apps.
  • Through understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and Exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs.
  • Good understanding and experience on process automation
  • Strong programming skills in Java and scripting languages
  • Better understanding of operating systems, Android and Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CDNs is preferred.
