We are looking for a passionate and skilled Western Dance Teacher to join our growing team.
Job Description:
As a Western Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for training students in various Western dance styles, choreographing performances, and fostering a love for dance among students of all ages. You will create a structured and engaging learning experience while also assisting in academy events and student performances.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach various Western dance styles, including Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Open Choreography, Fusion, Semi Classical, Bollywood, Zumba, Yoga and more.
- Develop lesson plans and structured classes for different skill levels and age groups.
- Ensure students understand rhythm, coordination, and expression through dance.
- Provide personalized feedback to help students improve their technique and confidence.
- Choreograph dance routines for academy events, recitals, and competitions.
- Organize and rehearse students for stage performances, ensuring professionalism and creativity.
- Collaborate with musicians, teachers, and event coordinators for seamless performances.
- Motivate and inspire students to explore their artistic potential.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
- Communicate with parents about student progress, attendance, and upcoming events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Dance or Performing Arts (preferred).
- Proficiency in multiple Western dance styles.
- Strong teaching experience with students of different age groups.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Passion for dance education and mentoring students.
- Ability to choreograph and create engaging dance routines.
- Professional demeanor and a positive, energetic personality.
