JD – Senior Data Analyst

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Data Analyst to design, develop, and maintain data visualizations and business intelligence reports. This role involves working with large datasets, implementing data models, and providing actionable insights to support business decision-making. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders, ensure adherence to data governance policies, and leverage advanced data storage solutions such as Azure Data Lake. Experience in industries such as Healthcare, Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Manufacturing, and Sales is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.- BI Reporting & Dashboards: Design and develop interactive BI reports and dashboards to deliver insights on key business metrics and KPIs.- Data visualization tools: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.- Data Modelling: Build and optimize data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance.- Data Analysis & Visualization: Use Power BI and advanced visualization techniques to analyse trends, identify patterns, and deliver insights.- Data Governance & Security: Ensure compliance with data governance policies and manage data security/access controls for sensitive information.- Optimization & Performance Monitoring: Continuously optimize reports and dashboards for improved performance and user experience.

Must-Have Skills:

- Experience in working with data sets of any of the industries such as Healthcare, Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Manufacturing, and Sales.- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations.- Effective Communication: Ability to present complex data insights in a clear, actionable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Proficiency in Visualization tools: Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau including creating reports, dashboards, and advanced visualizations.- DAX and SQL: Expertise in DAX for Power BI and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.- Data Modelling: Solid experience in building and optimizing data models to ensure data integrity and performance.- Cloud Platform Experience: Experience working with cloud platforms, especially Azure and Azure Data Lake for scalable data storage solutions.- Data Governance & Security: Familiarity with best practices for data governance, privacy, and security, ensuring compliance and managing access control.

Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on Power BI.- Strong analytical and communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical teams.
