Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tekla Checker, based in Pune. The Tekla Checker will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of steel detailing work using Tekla software. Daily tasks include checking and validating structural models, drawings, and specifications, coordinating with the drafting team, adhering to project requirements, and ensuring compliance with international standards. The Tekla Checker must ensure that all project deliverables are met within the given timelines.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Tekla software, AutoCAD, and SDS/2
  • Strong understanding of structural detailing and engineering principles
  • Knowledge of international codes such as Euro Codes, British Codes, AISC, ASCE, ACI, IBC, MBMA, ASD, AISI, AWS, MBCI, and LRFD
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in steel detailing and structural projects is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred
