Job Title: Senior Java Software Engineer

Skills: Spring boot, SQL / Mongo DB & Microservices

Location: Greater Noida

Notice Period: 0 - 30 days joiners preferable



We at Coforge are hiring Senior Java Software Engineers with the following skillset:


Design & Development:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining the backend architecture of our applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
  • Develop robust, scalable, and secure backend components and services using Java.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to design and implement features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.


System Integration:

  • Integrate backend services with third-party APIs and databases.
  • Work on data storage solutions and ensure optimal performance of the applications.


Testing & Debugging:

  • Conduct unit and integration testing of the application to ensure quality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.


Code Reviews & Best Practices:

  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to suggest improvements.


Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE technologies.
  • Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Hibernate.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.


Communication:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Teamwork:

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, or React (though this is not a primary requirement).
