Position: Zonal Manager – Claims (West)Location: MumbaiEmployment Type: Full-time (Office-based with travel)Role OverviewResponsible for managing end-to-end motor claims for OEM business across the West zone, ensuring smooth coordination with all stakeholders, timely settlements, and continuous process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesClaims ManagementOversee complete OEM motor claim lifecycle with timely and accurate closure.Monitor TAT, documentation quality, and customer satisfaction.Stakeholder CoordinationLiaise with insurers, workshops, surveyors, OEM teams, and customers for seamless claim processing.Ensure timely follow-ups for approvals and settlements.Performance & ReviewConduct periodic reviews with insurers and workshops, track KPIs, and implement improvements.Data & ReportingMaintain accurate claim data and dashboards.Prepare and present periodic claim performance reports.Training & EnablementTrain workshops, dealer staff, and internal teams on claim processes and documentation.System & Process ManagementCoordinate with IT/operations for system integration and data validation.Manage garage codes, loss codes, and rectify data discrepancies.Dispute & Escalation HandlingManage complex or disputed claims and facilitate fair resolutions.Process ImprovementIdentify gaps and recommend enhancements to improve claims efficiency.Desired Skills & ExperienceGraduate/Postgraduate in Insurance, Automobile Engineering, or related field.8–12 years of motor claims experience (preferably OEM/Broking).Strong knowledge of OEM processes, IRDAI guidelines, and garage operations.Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.Proficient in Excel and claim management systems.Willingness to travel across the zone.
