Full-Time Multiplayer Game Developer (2D) Remote

We are a recruitment consultant hiring on behalf of our European client - an exciting gaming startup building a competitive PvP platform where players face off in fast-paced, real-time 2D multiplayer games.

This is your chance to own the game dev side of a project thats going global Blockchain integrations are handled in-house your focus will be on building smooth, secure, and fun gameplay that keeps players hooked.

What Youll Be Working On

  • Creating lightweight but seamless 2D multiplayer games
  • Building authoritative servers, socket networking, and turn timers
  • Adding polish with animations, UI, and fluid interactions
  • Ensuring real-time performance that feels professional & lag-free

What Were Looking For

  • Experience with multiplayer game dev , socket networking)
  • Strong front-end skills in React, WebGL, Canvas rendering
  • Bonus points if youve set up servers / online environments
  • A portfolio of past projects (links/screenshots are a must – we value results over buzzwords)
