Own the data recovery test (secondary storage recovery test) process strategy by collaborating with the relevant Infrastructure/Technology Towers including operations and engineering teams Collaborate with the application owners to ensure the backup definitions are documented in the bank’s central tool Collaborate with the application owners to ensure data recovery tests from backup are executed on an annual basis Report the Compliance status of backup scheme definitions and data recovery tests, monthly to senior management, 2 LoD IT Risk and other parties on an adhoc basis Report & Escalate where required to the CIO-1s of the applications that are no compliant to data recovery testing Provide strategic solutions and maintain the roadmap of the Secondary storage function including tooling enhancements / process changes Own the UAT testing where required for the tooling enhancements related to the data recovery Identify the gaps in the process and document proposals to mitigate the risks involved due to the gaps Own / support any audit related topics related to the functionYour skills and experience
Infrastructure
Strong understanding of infrastructure technology across a broad range of infrastructure products including backup and restore Strong understanding of IT Security and resilience Strong architectural understanding through all architectural disciplines (business, data, application, technical and security)Business Management
Relevant experience working in the Financial Services industry desirable Relevant experience in IT Analytics Desirable experience in IT Security Experience in identifying opportunities for improvement in existing processes/functions Strong communication skills are mandatoryHow we’ll support you
