Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Component Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your experience across various component
engineering functions, while actively contributing to digital process improvements through
collaboration with IT and software development teams.
The ideal candidate should be proactive, analytical, and experienced in both component
engineering and technology-driven solutions, with a keen interest in process optimization and
cross-functional teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Knowledge:
• Knowledge of the technical specifications of semiconductor components, ICs,
memories, passives, and discrete.
• Ability to capture technical and mechanical specifications from various documents
(datasheets, qualification reports, reliability reports).
Data Management:
• Experience in commodity/part type classification.
• Proficiency in component lifecycle analysis.
Regulatory Compliance:
• Understanding of RoHS, REACH, and Conflict Minerals regulations.
PLM Tools:
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Agile, Arena, ECO,
and MCO.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Agile PLM, FFF analysis and strong technical knowledge on passive,
discrete and semiconductor.
• Knowledge of PCN and obsolescence management.
• Knowledge of RoHS, REACH,PFAS,TSCA,POP,PROP-65,WEEE and Conflict minerals.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, their functionalities and its applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Component classification, Alternate identification.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Interest or exposure to process automation, digital tools, or software development
concepts preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• High attention to detail with a strong willingness to learn end-to-end component engineering processes.
