Role Description

This is a full time on-site role for a Warehouse Manager located in Surat. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for stock control, inventory control, operations management, and warehouse operation. The Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for inventory management to ensure accuracy and security of supply. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with other members of the team to align procurement and logistics with production requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Efficiently manage and oversee all warehouse operations, including but not limited to inventory management, materials handling, shipping, receiving, and storage.- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment for all warehouse personnel.- Develop and implement warehouse standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimise processes, minimise errors, and enhance efficiency.- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, providing coaching, guidance, and performance evaluations.- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.- Utilise SAP Warehouse Management to maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and manage material movements.- Implement Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance warehouse processes and reduce waste.- Monitor and control warehouse expenses, including labour, equipment, and supplies, to ensure cost-effectiveness.- Generate reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and performance metrics for management review.- Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies, quality issues, or operational challenges promptly.- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse to meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Education:

· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

· Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or API manufacturing industry.

· Proficiency in SAP Warehouse Management is essential.

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- · Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory compliance in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
