The role requires strong expertise in risk assessment, pricing, analytics, and technology-led underwriting automation.Responsibilities- Lead overall health underwriting strategy and ensure adherence to guidelines and regulatory standards.- Oversee risk assessment, pricing accuracy, and portfolio profitability for new and renewal business.- Drive digital transformation using analytics, ML tools, and underwriting automation technologies.- Partner with product, actuarial, tech, and data teams to design customer-centric health insurance products.- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain strong governance controls.- Monitor underwriting trends, provide management reporting, and identify emerging risks or opportunities.- Stay updated on market practices and collaborate with industry partners, reinsurers, and regulators.Qualifications- 10+ years of experience in health underwriting with strong exposure to pricing, risk evaluation, and portfolio analysis.- Proven experience using analytics, digital tools, and underwriting automation platforms.- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.- Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic decision-making capabilities.- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver customer-centric underwriting solutions.If you are interested for the same then connect with - linkedin.com/in/shweta-dedhia
