Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Specialist with expertise in Cloud Interface and Transmission. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and customizing Guidewire PolicyCenter to meet the unique needs of our organization, particularly focusing on cloud-based interfaces and data transmission protocols. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless integration between PolicyCenter and various cloud platforms, as well as optimizing data transmission processes for efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
1). Configure Guidewire PolicyCenter modules to align with business requirements, with a specific focus on cloud-based functionalities.
2). Design, develop, and implement cloud interfaces to facilitate data exchange between PolicyCenter and external systems or cloud platforms.
3). Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and system administrators, to gather requirements and implement solutions.
4). Customize PolicyCenter workflows, rules, and user interfaces to enhance system usability and efficiency in a cloud environment.
5). Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues, ensuring the stability and performance of PolicyCenter across cloud-based deployments.
6). Develop and maintain documentation, including configuration guides, technical specifications, and test plans.
7). Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices related to cloud integration and data transmission within the insurance industry.
- Qualifications- :
1). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
2). Proven experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and customization, preferably in a cloud environment.
3). Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and architectures, with hands-on experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
4). Proficiency in integration technologies and protocols, including RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, and message queuing systems.
5). Familiarity with Guidewire tools and utilities, such as Guidewire Studio, Configuration Console, and Data Model Tools.
6). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify root causes of issues.
7). Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
8). Relevant certifications in Guidewire PolicyCenter and cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate) are a plus.
