Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Delhi, India. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Daily tasks include monitoring accounts, handling tax filings, conducting audits, and providing financial reports and analysis to management. Additionally, the Accountant will support budgeting and forecasting activities and work closely with other departments to streamline financial operations.

Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficiency in accounting software, financial reporting, and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and managing financial transactions
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams

Experience in the financial sector or knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices is a plus
