Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and automating the setup of secure and scalable landing zones across AWS, GCP, and Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, networking, and automation, with a focus on establishing connectivity between on-premises environments and cloud platforms, as well as integrating various databases and file systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Landing Zone Architecture : Understanding the client platform and engineering requirements and propose the suitable platform architecture model

Landing Zone Setup: Design, deploy, and maintain landing zones across AWS, GCP, and Azure, ensuring secure and compliant environments that adhere to industry best practices.

Resource Automation : Develop and implement automation scripts and tools for the creation and management of cloud resources, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

Networking & Connectivity: Establish and configure secure VPN connections between on-premise environments and cloud platforms.

Set up and manage connectivity across multiple cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) to ensure seamless integration and data flow.

Work with network engineers to design and implement hybrid cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Integration with Databases & File Systems:

Integrate on-premise and cloud-hosted databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.

Set up and manage cloud file systems and storage solutions, ensuring they are optimized for performance and cost-efficiency.

Security & Compliance: Implement robust security measures, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and monitoring, to ensure that all cloud environments are secure and compliant with relevant regulations.

Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor cloud environments for performance, cost, and security issues, and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Collaboration & Support : Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure cloud solutions meet business needs and are properly integrated into existing workflows.

Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for cloud infrastructure, networking configurations, and automation processes.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture, with a focus on AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Proven experience in setting up landing zones, automating cloud resource creation, and establishing connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.

Strong understanding of cloud networking, including VPNs, VPCs, subnets, and firewalls.

Skills:

Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates.

Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance requirements.

Familiarity with database integration and management, both on-premise and in the cloud.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.

Experience:

Previous experience in a multi-cloud environment or working with hybrid cloud solutions
