At Mave Health, we are on a mission to build human-centric products for mental wellness, using science and technology. Mental health crisis is an inevitable pandemic coming our way and we realized this once we saw people around us, our friends and family, getting affected. Searching for effective solutions turned out to be a pretty hopeless pursuit.
By combining innovative therapies, research-based approaches, and a deeply empathetic understanding of individuals, we are radically transforming the way mental health care is perceived and delivered.
Minimum experience required2-3 Years
ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain the backend infrastructure for the Mave Health platform.Design and implement scalable APIs to power our mobile and web applications.Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration of backend services.Optimize the performance of relational databases and ensure data integrity.Develop and manage authentication systems with a strong focus on security.Deploy, monitor, and maintain services on AWS, Azure or similar cloud platforms.
QualificationsStrong proficiency in Python and Django, with a deep understanding of web frameworks and REST API development.If not Python/Django, experience with Node.js frameworks and relevant ORMs is required.Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including schema design and optimizations.Hands-on experience with ORMs like Django ORM or SQLAlchemy.Familiarity with Docker for containerized application development and deployment.Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3) or similar cloud platforms for deployment and hosting.Familiarity with building authentication systems (OAuth, JWT, etc.) and secure user management.Understanding of backend architecture principles and scalability best practices.
Good to HaveHands-on experience working on applications that comply with HIPAA or similar healthcare-related regulations.Experience implementing secure data storage and transmission practices for sensitive information.Familiarity with non-relational databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Redis) for specific use cases such as caching etc.Knowledge of microservices architecture and its implementation.Understanding of monitoring tools like Prometheus or CloudWatch for system reliability.Any other technical skills or innovative projects you’re proud to share.
