Company name – US-based healthcare product company Work Mode: Remote Experience: Up to 5 years Salary: Up to ₹18 LPA Role Overview: We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to design, build, and scale robust data pipelines and backend systems that power a US-based healthcare product . This role focuses on production-grade data engineering , including data ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics-ready pipelines , working closely with ML and backend teams to enable data-driven products and insights . Key responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to ingest and transform structured and unstructured data Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability Build, maintain, and monitor production-grade data infrastructure using AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, ECS, etc.) Work closely with AI/ML teams to prepare high-quality datasets for model training and evaluation Collaborate with stakeholders to define data schemas, quality checks, and versioning strategies Contribute to internal tooling for data validation, schema tracking, and data lineage management Required skills & qualifications 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering Strong proficiency in Python and SQL Experience with cloud-based data platforms (preferably AWS) Hands-on experience with batch ETL pipelines (Airflow, Prefect, Luigi, or similar) Good understanding of modern data lake and data warehouse architectures (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.) Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment Strong communication and documentation skills Nice to have Exposure to healthcare, bioinformatics, or pharmaceutical datasets Experience with large-scale molecular, genomic, or omics data Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code Knowledge of data governance best practices If you want an even more compact version (single-screen post), I can compress this further without losing quality.
