Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to join our IT team and lead data integration efforts using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) and Microsoft SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL workflows that support enterprise data initiatives, ensuring high data quality, performance, and reliability.

  • Design and implement ETL processes using SAP BODS and SQL Server for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Develop and optimize SQL scripts for data staging, transformation, and validation.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance existing ETL jobs and workflows to support evolving business needs.
  • Monitor ETL job performance and troubleshoot issues related to data quality, job failures, and latency.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
  • Document ETL processes, data mappings, and technical specifications.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities across development, QA, and production environments.

Job Requirements

Details:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BODS and SQL Server development.
  • Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Experience with data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques.
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or other SAP modules is a plus.
  • Knowledge of job scheduling tools and version control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
