Seeking a smart, diligent, and collaborative engineer passionate about solving real-world problems and advancing a meaningful mission in UAV flight testing and integration.

Key Qualifications:

  • Deriving the requirements of components from the mission requirements
  • Assessing quality requirements
  • Sourcing the components meeting the requirements and quality criteria
  • Electrical and mechanical integration of the airplane
  • Integration of autopilot, onboard computer, datalink, payload, air pressure probe, radar, lidar, radio altimeter, and other standard sensors and payloads
  • Integration checks and maintenance of logs
  • Preflight checks and maintenance of logs
  • Mission planning and execution monitoring
  • Diagnosis and problem fixing, documenting the case
  • Post-flight analysis and documentation
  • Periodic maintenance and history logging
  • Team coordination: ground crew, pilot, support staff, field personnel
  • Good communication skills for conveying summary to the management and team leads, providing instructions to field personnel
  • Good documentation skills for unambiguous record keeping
  • Understanding of operational constraints and regulations
  • Understanding of GCS functionality
  • Understanding of post-flight analysis tools
  • Good command over standard documentation and reporting packages is desirable
  • Understanding of version control and version management is desirable
  • Problem diagnosis and solving skills will be a huge plus
