While our focus at Le Cordon Bleu is higher education, we have taken special interest in the public realm as well. 

We offer many fine restaurants as well as numerous bakeries and coffee shops under the Le Cordon Bleu trademark. In addition, we have expanded our activities to include various educational media such as culinary publications, instructional videos, TV series, cooking equipment and such more. 

Our privileged partnership and articulation agreements with various governments, universities, and culinary associations have allowed us to promote French Art de Vivre worldwide


1.Reporting and working relationship

Reporting to the LCB Program Director and ultimately under the institute management board, with close working relationship with the Sales and Marketing team of Le Cordon Bleu International Network.


2.Main Role and responsibilities

The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for driving students to the institute through the co-ordination of sales and marketing activities, within their assigned budget.

  • Develop and implement the Marketing and Sales Plan to achieve KPI’s
  • Manage and train sales team to achieve budget 
  • EMP Management, tracking inquiries, and sales document management 
  • Report on Sales & Marketing activities 


3.Tasks

Develop Sales and Marketing Strategy 

  • Develop a sales and marketing strategy to achieve sales goals and revenues.
  • Undertake market research, competitor analysis and surveys
  • Undertake Data and sales performance analysis and recommendations
  • Develop a marketing plan for leads creation and conversion (sales strategies, activities, targets, resource inputs, budget, reporting) 

Action Sales and Marketing Strategy 

  • Implement the international sales & Marketing Plan liaising with regional offices to develop overseas recruitment 
  • Organise sales events in the region via prior approval of LCB International. 
  • Design and implement promotional events, advertising campaigns, public relations and brand awareness strategies
  • Implement digital strategy to create leads
  • Maintain website and develop content across all channels. 
  • Manage SEO and advertising performances on the web channels. 
  • Generate sales through attendance at trade and education exhibitions, schools visits, presentations, industry associations and events, School and University open days, networking functions, and through PR activities
  • Establish university and school networks, servicing, and training career counselors
  • Develop and conduct effective sales presentations 
  • Plan and direct sales team training

Manage sales 

  • Through EMP, maintain, review and follow-up inquiries databases to maximise conversion to sales
  • Answer enquiries, undertake follow up and maintain database records on a daily basis
  • Continuous review of sales activities 

Manage the team

  • Ensure sales team are allocated tasks according to their ability and complete and report activity in accordance with agreed timetable.
  • Ensure the sales team efficiently follow up on leads and their targets.
  • Develop a training programme to be approved by institute management.
  • Undertake appraisals and performance reviews reporting back to successes and areas of improvement.

Report

  • Provide sales reports following the sales event – local and International
  • Monitor and report sales and marketing activities including statistical analysis of performance on a monthly and Quarterly basis
  • Monitor the use of all trademark and intellectual property and immediately report any suspected infringement to LCB International.
  • Control expenses and monitor budgets for sales and marketing activities 


Generally, act as a company ambassador, marketing representative, public relations spokesman and to contribute to the world-wide recognition of the Le Cordon Bleu and the trademark "Le Cordon Bleu". 


4.Responsabilities

Define the staff that have a responsibility role in the SOP and describe their responsibilities. Provide contact information.

6.Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on strategy development and execution.
  • Experience in leading a team and managing cross-functional projects.



Must be adept in use of MS Office (Excel, Word, power point) and familiar with CRM and database systems, Internet sales and email applications.


Fluent in English and any other language is a plus


Able to understand profit and loss calculations including creating a budget, revenue/expenditure estimates.
