Role Overview As a Forward-Deployed Engineer (Gen AI), you will partner directly with Palindrome’s customers in wealth management and financial services to design, prototype, and productionise Gen AI-driven solutions on our agentic platform. You’ll combine deep technical capability with customer empathy — translating business problems into robust, scalable AI systems that deliver measurable results. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with customer stakeholders to understand domain challenges, workflows, and success metrics. • Translate business requirements into data-driven and AI-based solutions using Palindrome’s agentic framework. • Prototype and deploy LLM-based agents — including prompt structures, orchestration logic, memory, and retrieval pipelines. • Lead the transition from proof-of-concept to production, ensuring reliability, scalability, and measurable ROI. • Serve as a trusted technical partner: explain Gen AI concepts, define success metrics, and guide adoption. • Work with internal product and research teams to refine Palindrome’s agentic tooling and best practices. • Contribute reusable components, prompt templates, and frameworks for faster customer deployments.   Qualifications • 6+ years of experience as an AI practitioner translating business requirements into production-grade data and AI solutions. • 1+ year of deep, hands-on experience building Gen AI systems in production environments. • Strong proficiency in Python, with a solid Git Hub portfolio showcasing MLE or Gen AI projects. • Expertise in Machine Learning Engineering (MLE) — model development, deployment, monitoring, and optimisation. • Practical experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, and agentic frameworks (e.g. Lang Chain, Llama Index, DSPy, or custom orchestration). • Proven ability to break down complex business domains — ideally in financial services or wealth management into computational workflows and AI architectures. • Strong communication skills with comfort engaging directly with senior customer stakeholders. • Experience delivering AI or data-driven business impact through customer-facing or consulting roles. • Self-starter with ownership mindset; thrives in fast-moving, cross-functional teams.   Why This Role Matters • You’ll be one of Palindrome’s key technical ambassadors, shaping how financial institutions adopt and scale agentic AI. • You’ll move beyond prototypes — designing, deploying, and scaling real-world Gen AI systems. • You’ll work directly with founding leadership, influencing platform roadmap and product evolution. • You’ll operate in a unique role blending engineering excellence, product innovation, and customer impact.
