Project Description:

We are looking for an experienced senior Snowflake data engineer. The person should have proven hands-on experience on Azure ADF and Snowflake. The project goal is to design the data model, setup data ingestion using ADF and build the model in Snowflake, to make data available into a reporting layer. DBT is always an added advantage as our client is using DBT for Transformation.


Responsibility:

- The overall experience of 8+ years with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Snowflake.

- Experience with Snowflake data warehouse, and other Data warehousing technologies

- Experience with Data Ingestion into Snowflake such as Snowpipe

- Good understanding of Snowflake architecture and processing

- Hands-on experience in Snowflake Cloud Development

- Knowledge of Snowflake Admin Management

- Querying Snowflake using SQL, Experience with SQL and PLSQL, SQL query tuning, database performance tuning and data warehousing concepts,

- Experience in writing complicated SQLs, analyzing query performance, query tuning, database indexes partitions, and stored procedure development.

- Implementing ETL pipelines within and outside of a data warehouse using Python and Snowflakes Snow SQL

DBT Development: Design, develop, and maintain DBT models, transformations, and SQL code to build efficient data pipelines for analytics and reporting.


Mandatory Skills:

Snowflake, Azure data factory, Snowflake data warehouse, SQL, PLSQL, DBT, Python, ETL.


Nice-to-Have Skills:

Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Lake
