As a QA Lead at Digi Valet, you will be a key player in ensuring the quality and reliability of our hospitality solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in automation testing, performance testing, Selenium testing, manual testing, API testing, and other relevant testing methodologies. Beyond technical proficiency, we are looking for a candidate who embodies strong leadership qualities, including team-building skills, adaptability, leading by example, and self-motivation.

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Building:

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of QA engineers.- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.- Encourage continuous learning and skill development within the QA team.

2. Adaptability and Problem Solving:

- Demonstrate adaptability in handling evolving project requirements.- Quickly adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies.- Proactively identify and address challenges in the QA process.

3. Lead by Example:

- Set high standards for quality and lead the team by example.- Promote a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.- Uphold and reinforce Digi Valet's values and professional standards.

4. Self-Motivation:

- Exhibit a self-driven and proactive approach to QA leadership.- Take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion.- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and accountability.

5. Test Strategy and Planning:

- Develop comprehensive test strategies aligned with project goals.- Collaborate with project managers to establish testing timelines and deliverables.- Review requirements and specifications to ensure testability.

6. Manage daily scrum meeting.

- Responsible for testing estimation/effort for sprint.- Responsible for Function and Regression testing for the sprint tickets.- Responsible for API testing for the API’s implemented or edited.- Run the regression Suite in Jenkins or locally to validate regular health of application.- Creation and Execution of automation Test Case- Client communication and co-ordination within team

7. Interaction with the clients to understand their business requirements.

• Providing production support on critical issues

• Ensuring the deliveries are done within the timelines.

• Preparing the project status reports to be submitted to the senior management.

• Responsible for Sprint Demo and Delivery.

8. End-to-end quality assurance activity that includes:

• Effort estimation

• Planning and strategy of Testing

• Test case creation and Execution of cases

• Bug reporting and retesting

• Functional, regression, UI-UX validation

• API testing using Postman

• Release certification

• Release report creation

Required Skills :-

• Exposure to Agile scrum methodology’s (Planning, Grooming, Effort estimation, and

Retrospection).

• Having experience in the web and mobile application testing.

• Exposure in Web functional automation using Selenium WebDriver and WebdriverIO.

• Exposure in API testing using Postman and Apickli.

• Exposure in performance Testing using JMeter.

• Understanding of REST full API types (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE).

• Experience in end-to-end QA activity that includes varies level of testing, Test Planning,

Test Creation, Test Execution, Defect Logging, Reports, Different Suits Preparation

(Functional, Smoke, Regression), Sprint Demonstration.

• Experience in effort estimation.

• Exposure to Health Care, E-commerce, Workforce Management and Education

domain.

• Having exposure of cloud platform like AWS.

- Exposure of SQL and No SQL databases like mysql, mongo DB.- Functional Testing (Web and Mobile Platform) , API Testing , Postman ,JIRA.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance.

• Strong experience in automation testing, performance testing, Selenium testing, manual testing, API testing, etc.

• Proven leadership experience with a focus on team building and mentorship.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
