Payel Inn Hotels is looking for a passionate and skilled Chinese Commi I to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate should be experienced in preparing authentic Chinese dishes and maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of Chinese dishes as per menu and guest preferences.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
• Assist in daily kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness at the workstation.
• Follow standard recipes and contribute to creating new dishes.
• Check and maintain proper storage of ingredients and inventory.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Work as part of the team and assist seniors in the kitchen when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma / Certificate in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Chinese Commi I or similar role in hotels or restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
