Job Description Vehicle Technician We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to carry out vehicle repairs in compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying faults in vehicle systems, as well as performing maintenance and installation of additional equipment. Responsibilities: Adhering to company guidelines while repairing vehicles Conducting measurements, tests, and diagnostics on passenger car systems Performing maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles Installing additional equipment as required Requirements Requirements: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role Certification in automotive technology or a related field Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work efficiently and accurately Excellent attention to detail and safety standards Benefits Benefits ✔ Candidates must provide visa, police check, English test results, qualifications, and medical check results before starting the job. ✔ Language Training: English proficiency required. ✔ Employment Contract: Initial contract within 72 hours. Follow-up contract and starter pack provided upon receipt of visa/confirmation of start date. ✔ Working Hours: Standard 38 hours per week. Shifts may vary by site. ✔ Holidays: 20 paid holidays per year, as per contract. ✔ Minimum Commitment: Length of visa is up to 2 years. ✔ Consequences for leaving before commitment period: Loss of visa. ✔ Salary: Estimated between $7200 to $9800/PA . ✔ Bonuses and incentives include VGA incentive program, shift, and tool allowance. ✔ Cost of Visa: Covered by Volvo. ✔ Job Location: Various locations across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Blacktown, and Prestons. ✔ Start Earning: Salary starts upon commencement with no delay. ✔ Probationary period: 6 months. ✔ Flight Cost: Initial flights covered by the company. ✔ Reimbursement policies for travel expenses available. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of full-time professional experience Candidate should be under 40 years old at the start of the process Proven hands-on professional experience directly in the workshop on vehicles or commercial vehicles in the areas of maintenance, repair, and diagnosis as a maintenance, repair, or diagnostic technician
