About the Role :

We are seeking a talented and experienced Snowflake Developer to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance data solutions on the Snowflake platform.

You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Snowflake and SQL to build complex data pipelines, transform and integrate data, and ensure data security and governance.

This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to unlock valuable insights from our data and drive strategic decision-making.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience developing and working with Snowflake.

- Extensive knowledge and expertise in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and stored procedures.

- Proven experience in designing and developing complex data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake.

- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices for building efficient and scalable data warehouses.

- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval, transformation, and analysis.

- Solid understanding of data governance and security principles within Snowflake, including user access controls and data encryption.

- Experience working with data warehousing methodologies like Kimball or Inmon is a plus.

- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.

- Prior experience working with SAP and JDE systems is a plus, but not essential.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop complex data pipelines and transformations using Snowflake features and functionalities.

- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

- Implement data governance and security best practices to ensure data integrity and compliance.

- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Develop and maintain stored procedures, user-defined functions (UDFs), and other advanced Snowflake objects.

- Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance to ensure optimal query execution and data processing efficiency.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Snowflake features and best practices
