Job Title: Senior Automation Test Engineer - Robot Framework with Python

Location: Bengaluru

Type: Full-Time Employment (FTE)

Note: API Testing experience is mandatory for all roles.

Job Description

We are looking for experienced Senior Quality Engineers to join our growing QA team. The candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and suites, working closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust automation frameworks and reusable test scripts.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and convert them into test plans and scenarios.
  • Execute automated test suites across various environments (development, staging, production).
  • Analyze test results, identify bugs, and assist in timely resolution.
  • Build and maintain integrations with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure API testing is incorporated into all testing cycles.
  • Stay updated with the latest automation trends and tools.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to test framework enhancements.

Mandatory Skills (For All Roles)

  • Strong experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, etc.
  • Good understanding of test planning, design, execution, and reporting.
  • Solid grasp of DevOps concepts, CI/CD tools, and integration of test suites into pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Role-Specific Skills

Automation Tester – Robot Framework with Python

  • Experience in creating and executing test suites using Robot Framework
  • Strong knowledge of Python for custom keywords and test enhancements

Desired (Not Mandatory):

  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
  • Exposure to Appium for mobile testing
  • Knowledge of database concepts and SQL

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on QA experience in automation testing
  • Experience in building and maintaining test frameworks from scratch
  • Deep understanding of QA and DevOps best practices
  • Proven experience working in Agile/DevOps environments

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200, ₹2,400,000.00 per year
