About Us:

At PetriDish Media, we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We're looking for a talented graphic designer who can transform concepts and ideas into visual masterpieces across print and electronic media.

Responsibilities:Collaborate with multiple teams to create web pages, presentations, marketing materials, and more.Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within established brand guidelines.Develop and execute original content using colour, text, font style, imagery, and layout effectively.Manage design processes and uploads, ensuring adherence to best practices.Utilize trend intelligence and market knowledge to enhance design work.

Objectives:Work on diverse projects using various software to develop innovative designs that meet business goals.Ensure designs meet organizational standards, brand expectations, and accurately represent the company or client.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and staying within budget.Improve design processes by identifying and addressing flaws.Maintain internal design, photography, and video databases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline.4-5 years of experience with design software (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver).Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Commitment to ongoing education and skill development.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:3+ years of experience in professional graphic design, ideally with a creative or marketing agency.Knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript.Proficiency with WordPress and content management systems.Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software.Ability to seamlessly translate creative ideas from and to different mediums like print, ooh, digital, etc.
