Job Title: Database Architect Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Full-Time Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, high-performance database solutions across cloud and on-prem environments. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in relational and NoSQL databases , cloud platforms , and team leadership , with a focus on delivering secure, efficient, and reliable data systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement database architectures for scalability, performance, and reliability. Lead and mentor database teams, ensuring best practices and technical excellence. Manage databases including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Sybase, Cassandra, Redis, and Couchbase . Oversee database migrations , disaster recovery , and cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure). Conduct POCs, performance tuning, and technical solution validation. Develop technical documentation and architecture diagrams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions. Utilize Docker, Kubernetes , and scripting (Unix Shell) for automation and deployment. Qualifications: Any Engineering, Graduate or Post-graduate. 8+ years of experience in database architecture and management. Expertise in SQL and NoSQL systems, and cloud-based databases. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with Agile methodologies and modern DevOps tools. Preferred: Certifications in AWS or GCP, or Azure.
