Job Role Embedded Video & Platform Software Developer

Qualification B.E/B.Tech (ECE/CS/EE/EI/IT) or ME/M.Tech (ECE/CS/EE/EI/IT/CE) or equivalent (with minimum 60%)

Experience 2 Year + Experience

Roles & Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and optimize multimedia applications for embedded devices.

  • Apply best software engineering practices including design patterns, code reviews, version control (Git), continuous integration, and automated testing.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications & platform, especially multimedia performance and system integration.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate and optimize multimedia software on embedded systems.

Skills
• Good understanding of Multimedia on embedded systems preferably with hands-on experience on TI based boards

  • Strong knowledge of Gstreamer framework and multimedia pipeline development.
  • Knowledge of advanced Gstreamer features such as dynamic pipelines, buffering, and synchronization.
  • Experience with video encoding and decoding using hardware accelerators (e.g., V4L2, VAAPI). A
  • Experience with embedded operating systems like Linux
  • Excellent coding skills with expertise in C and C++
  • Experience with VOIP technologies is preferable
  • Deep understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and computer vision applications on embedded devices is preferred
  • Familiarity with hardware acceleration APIs such as OpenGL, OpenCL, or CUDA.
