Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Swedium Global is looking for a highly skilled Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in building, automating, and optimizing cloud-native environments to support large-scale D365 Finance & Operations rollouts and enterprise integrations. This role will be instrumental in ensuring seamless deployments across multiple markets, while upholding the highest standards of reliability, security, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & Release Management

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, enabling smooth deployments across multiple environments.
  • Maintain Git repositories with branching strategies, pull requests, and code review practices to support collaborative development.
  • Automate build, test, and release workflows, ensuring efficient and error-free delivery.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep for repeatable, secure deployments.
  • Implement and manage cloud resources across Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and environments.

D365 Rollout & Integrations

  • Support D365 Finance & Operations implementations by enabling scalable DevOps practices.
  • Manage integration environments, ensuring smooth connectivity across systems using Azure API Management, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
  • Ensure reliable deployment of APIs and microservices with a strong focus on security and compliance.

Automation & Orchestration

  • Leverage Azure Functions and automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or C#) to streamline deployment and maintenance tasks.
  • Automate infrastructure monitoring, scaling, and patching to support enterprise rollouts.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement Azure Key Vault and managed identities for secure storage and access management.
  • Enforce compliance and governance using Azure Policy and security best practices across all environments.

Monitoring & Reliability

  • Set up and manage observability frameworks using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and optimize system performance to ensure uptime and smooth rollouts.

Collaboration & Solution Design

  • Partner with architects, developers, and data engineers to design scalable, secure Azure-based solutions.
  • Provide DevOps expertise to ensure solutions are production-ready, reliable, and aligned with program goals.

Technical Skills Required

  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
  • Proficiency in Azure services: Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, App Services.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
  • Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics.
  • Exposure to D365 F&O environments and integrations is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of data integration services such as Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and Synapse.
