Your designs will form the base of HAY’skurta and dress collections , blending timeless Indian elements with contemporary style.Key Responsibilities:Conceptualize and createoriginal print artworksandsurface designsfor women’s kurtas and dressesDevelopmood boards, color palettes, and design storiesbased on brand direction and seasonal trendsWork onProcreate (i Pad)orAdobe Illustrator/Photoshopto design repeat and placement printsSuggestfabric–print combinationsideal for bulk production (screen, digital, rotary, or block printing)Coordinate with thedesign and sampling teamsfor scale, color accuracy, and fabric trialsRevise and refine print layouts based on sampling and feedbackMaintain organized digital folders, naming systems, and documentation for production and marketing teamsIdeal Candidate:4–5 years of experience intextile/print design , preferably inwomen’s ethnic or fusion wearProficient inProcreate (i Pad) ,Adobe Illustrator , andPhotoshopStrong understanding ofcolor theory, print placement, and Indian fabric techniquesKnowledge ofprinting methodssuch as screen, rotary, and digital printingSelf-motivated and comfortable working remotely with quick design iterationsPassionate about creating prints that aretrendy yet timelessBonus if you:Have designed forkurta/dress-based brands or D2 C Indian wear labelsAre aware ofregional motifs, handloom inspirations, and cultural aestheticsCanhand-sketch or develop motifsfrom scratch
