Job Description :

- Proven expertise in API Gateway administration and configuration, with experience in 3Scale and any API Gateway solutions.

- Strong experience with REST and SOAP API integration and development.

- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building and maintaining APIs.

- Hands-on experience with OpenShift or similar container orchestration platforms.

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

- In-depth knowledge of API security concepts, including OAuth, JWT, and API key management.

Role Overview :

We are seeking a talented 3scale Developer with extensive experience in API management and integration to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of 3scale API Management platform and proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining API solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy API solutions using the 3scale API Management platform.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define API specifications, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting policies.

- Customize and configure 3scale API Gateway components to meet specific business needs and integration requirements.

- Integrate 3scale with backend systems and external APIs to enable seamless data exchange and communication.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and analytics features to track API usage, performance, and security metrics.

- Ensure security best practices are followed in API design and implementation, including encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.

- Conduct performance testing and optimization of APIs to ensure scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.

- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and developers on API design patterns, best practices, and 3scale platform capabilities.

- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in API management and integration to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in API development and management.

- Proficiency in 3scale API Management platform, including API Gateway, Developer Portal, and Administration Console.

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles, HTTP protocols, and JSON/XML data formats.

- Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, API keys, and JWT tokens.

- Knowledge of API security standards and protocols, including TLS/SSL, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.

- Familiarity with backend technologies such as Java, Node.js, or Python.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
