Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Research Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in higher education, excellent research skills, and the ability to analyze and present complex information related to US college admissions. Candidates with a background in academic research and experience in publishing research papers will be given preference. This role will support our advising team by providing insights, tools, and data to help students succeed in their application journey.

Key Responsibilities:

-Research and Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth research on US college admissions processes, requirements, and trends.- Analyze data on admissions rates, programs, scholarships, and extracurricular opportunities.- Stay updated on changes in college admissions policies and practices.

-Resource Development:

- Create and maintain guides, tools, and templates for students and advisors.- Develop content on topics such as essay writing, application strategies, and college fit.- Support the development of webinars, workshops, and presentations.

-Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with college advisors to understand the needs of students and families.- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and materials for internal and external use.- Provide data-driven insights to enhance admissions strategies.

-Academic Research and Publishing:

- Lead or contribute to the publication of research papers or white papers on topics related to college admissions and higher education.- Collaborate with internal and external teams on academic research projects.- Ensure the organization stays at the forefront of thought leadership in the admissions consulting space.

-Data Management:

- Organize and maintain databases related to colleges, programs, and scholarships.- Ensure accuracy and relevance of all stored information.

Qualifications and Skills:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master’s preferred).- Strong knowledge of the US college admissions process (experience in advising is a plus).- Proven experience in academic research, with at least one published paper preferred.- Excellent research and analytical skills with attention to detail.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data analysis tools.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.- Passion for education and supporting student success.
