Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our web development team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugin development, along with strong front-end and back-end development skills. You'll be responsible for leading complex projects, optimizing performance, and maintaining high-quality standards in code and design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and web applications.
  • Design and implement new features and functionality using custom themes and plugins.
  • Optimize websites for performance, scalability, and SEO.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs in a timely manner.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility standards.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and establish development best practices.
  • Integrate third-party services and RESTful APIs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress and web development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
  • Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
  • Knowledge of WordPress REST API and headless WordPress implementations.
  • Experience with Git and version control systems.
  • Proficient in performance optimization, security practices, and SEO principles.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Udaipur, Rajasthan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
