We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Options Algo Trading Quant Developer to join our team. As an Options Algo Trading Quant Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing algorithmic trading strategies focused on options trading. You will work closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and technology teams to design, develop, and optimize trading models and systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in quantitative finance, options pricing models, and algorithmic trading, along with excellent programming skills.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain algorithmic trading strategies focused on options trading.
  • Collaborate with traders and quantitative researchers to understand trading requirements and translate them into quantitative models and strategies.
  • Design and optimize trading systems and infrastructure to execute trading strategies efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct backtesting and performance analysis of trading strategies to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze market data, including options pricing data, order flow, and other relevant data sources, to identify trading opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to develop and enhance trading platforms and tools.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, research, and developments in options trading, quantitative finance, and algorithmic trading.


Qualifications

  • Can relocate to Mumbai
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of options pricing models, volatility models, and quantitative finance concepts.
  • Solid programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Experience with algorithmic trading and knowledge of relevant trading platforms and tools.
  • Proficient in data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of market microstructure and options market dynamics is a plus.
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their application to trading strategies is a plus.
