To support the expanding business demand, Envision is setting up an International Engineering Center (IEC) to provide best in class Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPC) solutions to our global partners and clients.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Plant Layout Engineer to join our International Engineering Centre (IEC) team in Bangalore. This role involves developing renewable energy plant layout (Windfarm, Battery Energy Storage Systems and Green Hydrogen Solutions) from feasibility and conceptual stage to detailed engineering and issue layout and related drawings. The layout engineer ensures adherence to the standards and Safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Feasibility, conceptual and detailed plant layout.
• Study of the site conditions to develop the layout.
• Plan and prepare layout to analyze the space requirement, road access, location of equipment, buildings and other infrastructure required for the plant.
• Collaborate with Equipment Design Engineering team, design disciplines, Clients, consultants, Statutory authorities, Vendors and other stakeholders to develop the layout.
• Optimize the plant layout to ensure cost effective layout solutions are developed without compromising construability, Operability and maintainability of the plant.
• Ensure that plant layout design follows the international codes & standards, local country codes, client / consultant or Envisions standards and specifications.
• Ensure Engineering deliverables and construction packages are developed and issued to the construction team.
• Plan and lead interdisciplinary reviews and review with Clients / consultants, Construction team etc.
• Work closely with EPC companies for the outsourced projects as owner layout engineer to ensure compliance to design standards and local country codes.
• Review vendor documents and incorporate the details in the layout.
• Coordinate with Design team to develop the Material Take off and support cost estimation.
• Prepare as-built drawings and issuance to Operations and Maintenance Team and Client.
• Address all site queries during construction.
• Responsible for overall document management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience (8 - 15 years) as Plant layout engineer in Renewable energy or as Piping Layout engineer with experience in Oil& Gas, Petrochemical Industries or related fields who has strong passion to learn the renewal energy sector is eligible for this role.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to handle challenging situations and addressing issues encountered during project development stage though implementation.
• Proficiency in English is a must. Knowledge of other language is an advantage.
• Ability to effectively communicate with international teams, and all management level levels.
• Experience in working with multinational company is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and should complement teamwork.
